Haromoni 25 May 2008

So it’s that time again. Yes it’s time to make a cup of tea, grab some cake and look forward to some beautiful Japanese singers possibly failing to entertain you thanks to the people behind Haromoni. So what are the angels up to this week?

First pic of the day…

Stop making up your own jokes. Frankly what you were thinking was smutty and I was shocked. Shocked I tell you!

Anyway on with the show. Obligatory clothes pic coming up. I do love a bit of leg action…

And with that welcome distraction out the way it’s time for the first clip. Today’s programme has some Eri throwing action. But first a word about Niigaki…

She has turned into a quite stunning young woman. She was always cute but these days she really has blossomed. Umm…back to the show…

The first clip is Eri throwing an umbrella over her shoulder into a stand. The members have to guess whether it will take more than 50 takes or less. Eri really had to earn her keep with this one. I’d have repetitive strain injury to the shoulder after about 20 takes! Anyway big votes outnumbered small votes with only JunJun & Takahashi Cute thinking small…

I presume the numbers are the amount of takes each girl believed it would need. As you can see from this pic it was quite a distance to throw. This was plus 80 takes by this stage as well…

Anyway after a 139 takes, yes 139, she finally succeeded thanks to a lucky deflection. I think she was happy…

Anyway for the person who predicted small and was the furthest away there was a punishment in store…

Balloons seem popular as forms of punishment in the Musume world.

Anyway next it’s a memory battle between Sayumi, Eri, LinLin and JunJun. They are given 5 minutes to memorise various unconnected things like baseball players, fish and plants. So after deciding the order in the normal way…

It’s time to get on with the battle. Eri gets her first one wrong and then puts the card back on the top of the pile eliciting a response of “arigatou gozaimasu” from LinLin. Well if my hearing of Japanese is any good that’s what she said. Could be wrong! LinLin got the card right and with Eri the only one to fail it was round the table again…and again…and again…well you get the picture.

Eri was having a bad time of it…

2 out of 2 wrong.

3 out of 3 wrong and nobody else has made a mistake yet. Not even LinLin who pulled out a Japanese baseball player! Poor Eri. She’s been through it for this show. Nevertheless she gets the next 3 right. Only LinLin got one wrong in that time but then come round 7 both JunJun, Sayumi and LinLin failed on theirs. So the scores were tightening up.

Onto the next round and JunJun gets hers right. I’m actually hoping she’ll win after previous programmes (I’m actually caring? Maybe this programme does work to a degree!) After JunJun’s success Sayumi fails to correctly pronounce Brazilian football legend Pele’s name. It sounds more like she said Pero to me so it’s an x…

Still not to worry. It’s not as if she’ll pull that card out again…

His name is now Peru. Well he was a bloody good footballer. Maybe he should have a South American country named after him. Anyway it’s not as if she’d pull his card out a third time…

Her answer this time? Peko.

Mind you it’s not just Sayumi who is suffering. Eri has pulled the same bird 3 times too…

Eri failed a third time. Still, at least she’s not Sayumi…

Petei is not his name either. Eri meanwhile pulls the bird again but this time succeeds. While all this is going on JunJun is pulling clear.

So onto the final card. Eri doesn’t know but LinLin does. Holding the card aloft World Cup style…

“Pele”. And so it was over. JunJun won. Eri came last. She really did suffer for this show!

So Haromoni this week was the Eri clip and a card game with 4 of the members. Yet it was one of the more entertaining episodes. This was actually pretty good fun. As for the preview of next week, well we get some more Mitsui nurse action…

As for the clothes well I’m really looking forward to the next show…

I mean really

Oh and there’s a special guest for the memory card game…

Looks like a good show just for the clothes!
