Haromoni 15 June 2008

So the latest episode of Haromoni. What’s in store this week? Well first up is a great performance of High-King’s new single Cinderella/Complex which Reina totally owns. Seriously I think this is Reina’s song completely and she’s clearly loving it. Reina could have a solo career easily. Takahashi is good too but seing Reina move and her facial expressions (and it’s easy to get screencaps of Reina. As long as the picture is in focus her expressions are always so watchable) it’s clear who is the star of this song…

A great performance from both of them. Reina is the leader though!

Well that’s all we’ve got time for this week so join us again…what? The rest of the show? Do I have to? Oh alright then…

It’s Chinese traditional dress time and Takahashi certainly hasn’t lost any of her cuteness over the years…

Gorgeous.

Well that’s all we’ve got time for this week. Please join me again…what? Oh the rest of the show? Are you sure? Very well…

First up is some quiz-based foot massage/torture. Ai’s victim this week…

Next up Gaki had to throw a hat onto someones head. Could she do it in less than 100 attempts? Everyone thought yes until Eri changed her mind and was then followed by Reina…

It took 62 takes in the end. So Reina and Eri were wrong. There’s a punishment clip involving balloons at the end of the show. Bring on some bitter tea instead is what I say!

Anyhoo next up it’s Reina (who owns this whole episode write-up as well as the High-King performance). It’s some strange clip that invoves superimposing her face onto two statues. I’m not sure if it made any sense in Japanese, nevermind to a non-Japanese speaking person. I really liked Eri’s reaction though…

Then it’s onto the memory test. This week it involves food. Yes, really. Fancy that. A Japanese tv programme involving food. Anyway It’s Koharu on her own and she’s successful…

So to the end and there’s just time for Reina and Eri’s balloon punishment (which must have been filmed weeks in advance just waiting for the time they got something wrong). Like I said bring on the bitter tea. Do it as live and it’d be far better…

And so that’s another episode over with. My main thought this week is how good the girls look in traditional Chinese dress (and thinking of the Sakura Mankai pv it works with traditional Japanese clothes too). They all looked beautiful without exception. Not a bad show this week to be fair. It flew by quicker than most and the High-King performance at the start will be watched again by me several times I reckon.
