Episode Six of Suugaku Joshi Gakuen is GENIUS!

Those of you who follow me on Twitter (MorningtimeBlog. Hello!) will know that I’m not exactly impressed with H!P’s improbable idol maths school drama/comedy Suugaku Joshi Gakuen. But all that could soon change for I have just seen episode six. A work of sheer comedic idol genius that pits Michishige Sayumi and Momoko Tsugunaga against each other. The episode can be downloaded here. Anyway this blog post contains spoilers so if you plan to watch the episode anyway caution is advised.

A new transfer student in town.

Yep. They don’t come much weirder than Momo who is basically playing her own idol persona here.

You don’t want to piss off Sayu. The bunny looks like she could boil you alive.

Like I said…her own idol persona. In fact her entrance included…

The double pinky!

And so the cause of Sayu’s ire leads to a funny and cute fantasy sequence…

It’s clear to me that Sayu is the winner with ease. ^^ I may be biased though. Anyway as usual for Suugaku Joshi Gakuen this rivalry leads to a fight. There’s always a maths fight each episode…

Boring maths battle here we come…

Mmm…fighty Sayu. Sexy!”

Momo’s hair looks better like that. 😛

And so in order to decide who is the cutest a totally irrelevant contest ensues…

All very olympian. So onto the actual contest…

It’s neck and neck as they head to the finishing line. Who will win?

Suich genius. So Sayu won by a…hmmm…well she kept abreast of the opposition anyway. >.> Anyway that’s the end of this picspam except for…

Always the cutest part of the show. This week it’s also really funny due to the pinkies and the high-pitched voices. ><

Anyway that was episode six. It’s about 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times better than all the other episodes put together. It’s a bit like Yorosen though. It’s great when you have the big personalities there. If only Junjun hadn’t graduated. I’d love to have seen her in it. Also Koharu!

  1. As you know I enjoyed the previous episodes too, but I agree with you, this is definitely the best so far. Sayumin and Momochi were both funny and actually did a good job acting. But I think this series makes absolutely no sense to those who are not familiar with H!P, it’s half idol variety show half jdrama. Looks like next episode will be Ayaka, Kanon and Meimi… you should do a post on that too. XD Oh and of course, Sayu wins in every possible category for me. But I actually squealed out loud when Momochi did her introduction with the nyan-nyan. I must say she’s good at acting cute.
