Yes it’s Hello! Station time again. This week it starts off with a dance shot pv for Berryz latest single. I’m not sure what the song is about though. If only the lyrics gave some clue…
A business card? Ah and put it in a phone box? I get you. Prostitution!
In Berryz? Well Chinami I guess. Miyabi too maybe.
And then as soon as you were older they lost interest huh? Men! Tsk!
Well nobody would ever think it’s enjoyable.
That’s what the men say.
Well they wouldn’t be pleased would they?
Oh wait. Sorry. Apparently it’s about being an idol. My mistake.
Anyway on with the show and after the last fortnight of GraduateMasaki it’ll be nice to have a new host. Who is it?
Well the next segment is Berryz remember the old days bit. This week it’s Risako sporting dyed eyebrows that make her look somehow odd…
The clip Risako watches is virtually a Risako solo. I think she couldn’t be bothered watching anyone else much. If she HAS to watch a clip then it may as well be of her. It’s a segment I don’t really get though. Other than plugging old dvd’s I don’t see the point.
So moving grouchily on and next up is C-ute with two live songs from their recent concert in Taiwan.
It’s good but it’s one of those locked off camera shots from the back which is a bit boring. Still it’s good to see the fans were as energetic there as they were in Paris last year. Idol concerts are awesome. So colourful and loud and that’s just the fans!
The next section is rather nice. It’s Sayu filming behind the scenes at a Momusu outdoors concert. Sayu talks with Eripon, Mizuki, future Queen Oda “Lovely MKII” Sakura and Haruka before then having lunch with Haruna and Haruka.
Sayu and Eripon in onesies! ♥
A little known fact I’ve just invented is that Haruna will only eat food in her current or former member colours. So here she is eating honeyed chocolate. Honest.
At the end the members watch a pretty spectacular and spectacularly pretty fireworks display and then come away from the stage looking pretty elated and elatedly pretty (okay that doesn’t really make sense and I’ll stop it now)…
Then Sayu speaks to camera a bit…
Yes Sayu I will kiss you.
What? Oh sorry. My mind wandered a bit there.
Anyway it’s finally time for the highlight of the show. Yes it’s the hair arrangement corner. No wait! Don’t go! It’s good this week. This time one member does another member’s hair. The girl in the chair is none other than cute Kenshuusei angel Hamaura Ayano. The person doing the arranging is cute C-ute angel Nakajima Saki. My second favourite Sushi with my favourite idol. Happpppppy!
What you can’t see here is that Sayu is tied up and gagged just off-camera. It’s the only way staff could keep her from pushing Nacky out the way once she heard there’s a chance to touch young girls on the show. Fact!
“So are you going anywhere nice on your holidays this year?”
“And if you don’t clean my shoes, iron my outfits and pull out all the yellow M&M’s in my bowl before each concert I’ll pull really hard! Understand?”
I normally find my eyes wandering to Nacky whenever she’s on screen but this time she has stiff competition. Hamachan is just so adorable. I haven’t wanted to adopt an idol since, well…since Nacky was a few years younger.
“And if I left her hair like this she’d look like a pineapple”.
“And would you like anything for the weekend?”
“Well we have an event on Saturday so baring in mind the AKB incident I’d like five minders and a stun gun.”
At the end Nacky waves bye bye while Hamachan makes a fisting motion. Perhaps indicating what she’d like to do to Nacky in retaliation for what Nacky just did to her hair. Ah but that was lovely though. Two lovely idols just doing…hair. No but it was fun. Really. Well yes I know it doesn’t SOUND like fun but really it was! Just a few minutes of cute idols doing everyday things. What lifts it from the norm is it’s a combination of two idols you don’t see together and one of them being a trainee you hardly see at all really. Although Hamachan is one of the faces of the Sushi it has to be said. In fact in liking Nanami and her I like two of the forefront trainees which is good.
The final part is some brief S/mileage live clips shot from such a distance I think Takeuchi has been replaced by a Beatle. Although after that there’s also a brief bit to camera where to be honest I can’t bring my eyeline up above their skirts. Partly because of legs and partly because I’m scared of Meimi.
And that’s it for another week. An interesting enough show for me. At least once C-ute, Momusu and Hamachan turned up. 🙂
